Yunxiao County Dongzhou Frozen Foods Co., Ltd, a joint stock cooperative enterprise of food export, was founded in May 2000 with registered capitals of RMB 7.5 million yuan. At present the investment of fixed assets has reached 23.5 million yuan and major products in production and operation include green soy bean, green bean, asparagus, bamboo shoot and other fast frozen vegetables, mushroom, fragrant mushroom, agaric and other edible fungi as well as litchi, longan, loquat and other fruits with annual output and value of more than 8000 tons and 64 million yuan respectively. Most of the products are exported to Europe, U.S.A, Japan, Singapore and other countries, earning foreign exchange of more than 3 million US dollars annually. The company, located in the Xuanmei Development Zone, Dongxia Township, Yunxiao County, backs on Dachen Mountain and faces Zhangjian River with beautiful scenery and agreeable environment. The company covers 12 thousand square meters with total construction area of 6 thousand square meters. In possession of first-class modernized fast frozen vegetable processing equipment domestically, the company is able to process various vegetables and fruits according to different requirements of craftwork with output capacity of 50 tons/day supported by a low temperature (below -18℃) storeroom with storage capacity of 1500 tons and a fresh-keeping storeroom of 200 tons. Now there are 68 fixed employees in the company, among which 12 employees have educational background above college and 26 employees have educational background above technical secondary school, 6 technicians with above secondary technical title and 20 technicians with above junior technical title. The company has comparatively advanced equipment and technology, management capability of craftwork reform and development ability of new products.
